UK fashion retailer vans shoes to sell its fashion clothing business, said to be worth £30m

A UK clothing retailer, vans shoes , is set to make its clothing business public, following its £30 million purchase of a chain of stores, including Clarks, Clarks Shoes and Zara, from Italian retailer Conman.

The acquisition will enable the company to offer its own range of clothing, and to develop its own branded brands in the UK.

It will also make it easier for vans shoes customers to order online and to get a quick and convenient delivery.

“We will be able to offer our customers a great selection of fashion clothing and shoes at unbeatable prices and are very excited about the opportunity to build a strong business in the US,” said van shoes co-founder David Houghton.

“I can’t wait to see what the future brings for the brand and its customers in the States.”

Vans shoes is one of a number of UK clothing retailers to have entered the US retail market in recent years, following the rise of Amazon, which started a UK business last year and has since launched in the rest of the world.

In the US, Amazon’s Prime membership and its Kindle app have attracted millions of US shoppers.

The company has already announced plans to launch in Australia and New Zealand.

In the UK, the brand has been expanding its US operations.
